Everyone wanted a safe and a danger-free trip, but we cannot predict accidents or troubles from happening on the road. We cannot put a stop on accidents from happening, but we can prevent or reduce them. Defensive driving, as defined by the National Safety Council's Defensive Driving Course is to drive to avoid accidents, and to

save lives, resources and time.

Defensive DrivingDefensive driving can be critical but is the safest way

of driving. Trainings which are related to defensive driving aim drivers to fully and further master the rules and basic conventions of traffic. It also intends to prevent the risk of collisions on the road, which are either caused by nature or just accidents. Reducing the risk of accidents is

predicting what might happen with the things around you as well as knowing how to handle this incoming

mishap and trouble.

In driving, aside from driving safely, you also be aware of the emergency situations that might

come your way. We never know when an accident or mechanical failure might happen, but if it

occurs you must know how to manage to avoid them from coming into you. +

Page 7: Accident-Free Driving

We can never say that a collision is dangerous unless damages are done. Collision, at whatever

angle you look, is hazardous. If you see accidents on the road, the best thing to do is to avoid them. You must know how to manage your wheels quickly. If a collision happened in front of you, you can either stop or turn immediately.

Or if you see a collision which is about to happen at your back, you can speed up or turn to

an open space. Knowing the road as well as practicing good driving skills is the things that can save you when you hit the road. Understanding defensive driving is what an accident-free driving can be.
