Accessing and Using the Annual Review Increment Worksheet

1. Log into Parnassus by entering your username and password, and then click the login button.

2. First click on “IC Employee Self-Service” to the left (under Main Menu), and click on “IC Performance Review” just below; then select “IC Self-Assessment.” The “Self-Assessment” page is displayed.

3. Enter your comments, examples and feedback for each of the feedback areas in the textboxes provided. The textbox will automatically expand as you type. Be sure to save your work every 10 minutes (a reminder will prompt you).

4. Click on the [Save] button. This will save the self-assessment and allow you to return to it later to be completed.

5. When you have completed your self-assessment, click [Submit for Review].

6. Here you can add a note to your supervisor in the “Confirm Submit” box. Then click [Continue].

You should then see a popup message:

Once you click “OK” your screen will look something like this –

7. Once your supervisor has reviewed the self-assessment, they will “approve” the review or “return for correction.” You will receive a workflow notification indicating completion of self- assessment.

8. Your supervisor will also complete a performance review for you, which is submitted to the next-level (your supervisor’s supervisor) for comment. Once that has been done, your supervisor will meet with you and discuss your performance review. Following that meeting, you should receive a copy of the Performance Review in your Parnassus workflow for your acknowledgement.

9. When you receive the Parnassus workflow notification, you will be able to open the performance review and print it for your records. You will then need to “Acknowledge” that you have met with your supervisor and discussed this performance review. You may also add a comment to your supervisor during this transaction which will also be included in your employee record. This completes the Performance Review process.
