Overview of Duties • Provide system integration and design technical support for the C4ISR Detail Design of the USCG Offshore Patrol Cutter (OPC) design. • Support and execute a robust C4 test program at a dedicated production facility in Panama City, shipboard and Navy INSURV acceptance trials. • Maintain OPC C4ISR development in accordance with contract specifications, ABS, NVR and ESG design specifications. • Maintain interface with C4ISR Manager on all aspects of C4ISR design. • Provide technical support investigation and resolution of IPT system interface issues related to all C4ISR systems. • Prepare reports and metrics on OPC development progress. • Maintain, manage and resolve integration and system engineering issues. Qualifications • Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance. • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering plus 5 yrs. cumulative experience in participation with any role in the acquisition, management, development, installation, or testing of a C4ISR system on a maritime vessel. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. • Must have accurate written and verbal communication skills to carry out and understand assignments, and/or convey or exchange routine information. • Excellent written, oral, and presentation/communication skills are required and successful candidate must have the ability to rapidly obtain, sort, filter, and analyze large volumes of data for distillation into high-level reports utilizing Microsoft Office Suite including Excel and Word. • Experience in the USCG or DOD/U.S. Navy environment, particularly providing engineering, Integrated Process Team facilitation, event support, acquisition engineering, test and evaluation, certifications/system engineering, CONOPS development and evaluation, system and architecture trade studies, platform/ systems integration technology transition development, engineering and Analysis, modeling and simulation, system engineering trade-off studies, system engineering/ open architecture, ILS engineering, Fleet Introduction, and export control program. • Experience working both independently and ability to exercise diplomacy and tact. • Experience with TEMPEST and IA, CDRL Development & Management, and writing test procedures desired.
