A collaboration between father and son

brings together a design synergy of past

and present. Accupunto takes an ancient

method of acupuncture and transforms

it into living furniture. Its Ergonic series

have received numerous international

awards and publications. Ergonic utilizes

an international patented system that

forms the contour of the users.

Innovation and development have always

been the core beliefs of the company

and it has carried the brand through itsventure in introducing new and original

products from Asia.

History

Year of establishment: 2002

Founders

YOS S. THEOSABRATA

Yos started the furniture business

30 years ago and is currently

the president of several furniture,

exhibition contracting, and event

organizing companies. He is also

the president of the Indonesian

Furniture Club.

LEONARD THEOSABRATA

Leonard graduated from

the Product Design Faculty at

the Art Center College of Design,

Pasadena, CA in 2002. His love

for furniture has led him to build

the Accupunto brand. Currently,

he is the head of LTD studio,

which focuses on interior and

product design for clients such as

TOTO, Aida, and Chamdani.

Styling can derive from different sources.

In Accupuntos Ergonic series, it comes

from pure functionwhere the frame is

designed to support cushions structure.

We do not hide it wi th a complex frame

design. Even the aesthetics come from

ergonomic practices. We try to carry

through this same design principle in

all of our products to seek the perfect

white square balance.

Our design of Stall, a family of coffee tables,

represents the barely-there aesthetics

to evoke elements of tranquility and passion

for relaxation, representing one important

aspect in life, togetherness.

Presenting a rst-time collaboration

between Accupunto, an international

furniture brand, with world renowned

designer Michael Young. The collection

features four signature collections in

wood, plastic, berglass, and delicate

ber weaving by Viro. All products

are made in Asia.

In collaboration with VIRO ber,

the largest global producer of all

weather wicker for the medium

to high-end market. Viro ber is

an environmentally responsible

product (100% recyclable and

non-toxic materials).

We met through a mutual

friend and right away I noticed

his creative energy which I felt

could complement my passion in

design. We met in Bali, and over

our chat, our mutual passion for

design was immediately obvious.

I like his spirit and business

acumen. He has a thorough

understanding of the production

process in Asia, which is a place

I love and am familiar with, andthey know how to package my

new works. I am honored to be

involved in the growth of such

a fresh and promising company.

We have felt the need to

expand our brand for quite
