The Academy of Makeup is Australia's leading makeup training college. Established in Melbourne, the

Academy has campuses in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane.

Our tuition program involves a comprehensive study of t raditional as w ell as new and innovative makeup

techniques. Our philosophy is to expose our s tudents to the latest techniques, products and equipment in

order to prov ide them w ith the skills they need to succeed.

Participation in a real-life w ork experience program ensures they graduate, w ith etiquette, enthusiasm and

the know -how to succeed in the industry.

Being industry innovators , rather than follow ers, w e set the standard for others . Our syllabus is continually

review ed and updated to incorporate the latest products and techniques currently used here in Australia and

overseas.

We provide tuition in all areas of makeup, including film, fashion, multi-media, HDTV, SPFX and injury

simulation, photographic, airbrush, cultural and theatre.

*Editor's Note: The Average Cost per Hour depends on w hich course you take. For the Diploma of

Specialist Makeup Services, the c ost is AU$8500. The Certificate IV in Makeup is AU$5900, and the

Certificate II in Makeup Services is AU$1500.

The student/teacher ratio is 18 students per one teacher in each class, and the number of students and

teachers listed is the total for all three campuses.
