IMPACT AND RECOMMENDATION

Upon approval by the Interim System VPAA, the proposal will move forward for entry

The targets of these courses are first-year students who have interest in or have declared electrical engineering or advanced high school students who wish to explore the field. They expose students to broad aspects of EE as a career and profession, in addition to providing the basic foundations of electrical engineering analysis and design. EE 110 also covers the basic foundations of digital systems. This 2-credit course is broader than CENG 244 (4 credits) by including professional and career issues and provides less technical depth in digital systems. It differs from SDSU’s 1-credit EE 101L in that it includes only classroom content which can be provided remotely and is focused on digital applications.
