We have opened the gates for abstracts and proposals to be submitted.Scientists and students, practitioners and planners, stakeholders and entrepreneurs are welcome to propose presentations, suggest workshops, or contribute as sponsors and exhibitors!

IENE invites interested professionals to submit abstracts for oral or poster presentations, or to make proposals for lecture sessions or workshops.

Submission ends: January 6, 2016.

Notifi cations on acceptance will be sent out before April 15, 2016.

Abstracts

Abstracts shall be clearly written and ideas well communicated, they shall include both transportation and ecological concerns, refl ect the current state of practice and knowledge, and use a clear and appropriate methodology for the collection and presentation of information.

Abstracts must be written in British English and not exceed 500 words. Spelling and grammar shall be checked and corrected.

Supplemental material (fi gures, tables, pictures, references) is encouraged and can be uploaded AFTER ACCEPTANCE of the presentation.

All submissions will be evaluated and ranked by the Programme Committee using criteria ex- plained at the website. Each abstract will be reviewed anonymously by at least two reviewers. Only the highest ranking abstracts will be will be included in the conference.

Proposals for specifi c sessions or workshops

Proposals for specifi c sessions or workshops must be submitted before January 6, 2016.

Proposals for oral sessions must include:

a short motivation and a description of the session topic (max 300 words),name of chair person(s),at least three speakers with submitted abstracts for oral presentations.

Proposal for workshops must include:

a short description of the workshop content and aim (max 300 words),name of chair person(s),preference for duration (90 min blocks).

Whether or not a proposal can be included in the fi nal conference schedule will be decided by the Programme Committee.

Scientifi c publication

In cooperation with the open-access journal Nature Conservation (Pensoft publishers), IENE offers scientifi c publication of approved and selected conference papers that passed the established peer-review of the publisher.

Publication will be free of charge for authors with the highest ranking abstracts according to the abstract review of the Programme Committee.

Other papers or conference presentations are welcome but at their own publication expenses.
