NRAMIn the field of computer science, memory is an important resource which must be carefully managed. While the average home computer nowadays has a thousand times as much memory as IBM 7094,the largest computer in the world in 1960’s, programs are getting bigger and faster than memories. To paraphrase Parkinson’s law, “Programs expand to fill the memory available to hold them”. So any attempt to produce faster and denser memory is always welcome.

NRAM is the trademark of the Nanterno Inc, USA. It is a

non-volatile RAM which is based on nanotechnology. It is

expected to hit the market by the end of 2003.NRAM is

faster and denser than all forms of memory currently

available. NRAM is expected to replace all other forms of

memory.
