ABSTRACT A. Dewiyani, NPM : 200747937 B. The effect of Student Perception of Teacher Performance and Learning Motivation to Reading Skill in English at SMAN 115 Jakarta. C. iv + 5 chapter + 114page D. Keyword : Student Perception of Teacher Performance, Learning Motivation, and Skill in English. E. The goal of this research is to find out the effect of Student Perception of Teacher Performance to Reading Skill in English, the effect of Learning Motivation to Reading Skill in English, the effect of Student Perception of Teacher Performance and Learning Motivation to Reading Skill in English. Survey was applied in this research which data have been analyzed by descriptive statistic to find out mean, median, mode, deviation standard, and inferential statistic to find out correlation and regression, t test and F test for significant correlation and regression. This research have been done in SMAN 115 at Jakarta October till November 2011. The result of the study finds out : there positive is correlation between Student Perception of Teacher Performance to Reading Skill in English with r =0,53, t test (3,89) >t table (2,42) on = 0,01 and r 2 (square) = 0,28 or 28 % contribution of Student Perception of Teacher Performance to Reading Skill, there positive is correlation between Learning Motivation to Reading Skill in English with r =0,60, t test (4,72) >t table (2,42) on = 0,01 and r 2 (square) = 0,36 or 36 % contribution

The goal of this research is to find out the effect of Student Perception of Teacher Performance to Reading Skill in English, the effect of Learning Motivation to Reading Skill in English, the effect of Student Perception of Teacher Performance and Learning Motivation to Reading Skill in English.

Survey was applied in this research which data have been analyzed by descriptive statistic to find out mean, median, mode, deviation standard, and inferential statistic to find out correlation and regression, t test and F test for significant correlation and regression. The result of the study finds out : there positive is correlation between Student Perception of Teacher Performance to Reading Skill in English with r =0,53, ttest(3,89) >ttable (2,42) on = 0,01 and r2 (square) = 0,28 or 28 % contribution of Student Perception of Teacher Performance to Reading Skill, there positive is correlation between Learning Motivation to Reading Skill in English with r =0,60, ttest(4,72) >ttable (2,42) on = 0,01 and r2 (square) = 0,36 or 36 % contribution of Learning Motivation to Reading Skill in English, there positive correlation between Student Perception of Teacher Performance and Learning Motivation to Reading Skill in English with r =0,76 and r2 (square) = 0,57 or 57 % contribution of Student Perception of Teacher Performance and Learning Motivation to Reading Skill in English.

Based on those findings, it could be concluded that variation which occurred at Reading Skill in English might have been effected by the variations of Student Perception on Teacher Performance and Learning Motivation.
