Research Paper On Comparative Analysis of Growth Models: India Vs China. ABSTRACT The purpose of this paper is to get an in depth insight of the growth models of two very powerful economies in the world, India and China. The entire study would revolve around these two countries’ economies and the elements which has contributed in their development and has played a crucial role in the constitution of their growth models. This paper would focus on two major objectives broadly classified as: 1. Study of the past trends in India and China as economies, specifically after 1990 2. Economic growth of the two powerful emerging economies In this paper, leading factors that are involved for the growth of the economic indicators such as GDP, GDP growth rate, Import trade, Export trade and Trade openness etc. have been listed out. This study talks about the increased influence of India and China in the world economy due to causation of Liberalization, Privatization and Globalization in 1990. The two economy’s strength and weakness would be analyzed and an evaluation would take place accordingly on which economy is doing better and what are the opportunities
