Primary causes of failure are wire breakage or excessive resistance caused by dirt and moisture. Solution: Airtex Advantage Airtex sensors are equipped with weather pack connectors, wire sheathing and mounting brackets for added protection. Grease packets, mounting hardware and detailed instructions help ensure faster, easier installation. Benefits: - Direct OE replacement - Longer component life -Faster, easier installation - Performs as well as or better than OE Instructional video: http://www.airtexve.com/video_honda_abs_hq.html Features: - Sensors manufactured by Airtex have heavier insulation for greater wire protection -Grease, mounting nut and instruction sheet included, where applicable (most OEs no longer providing grease packet with aftermarket part) - Sheathing to protect wire harness - Weather pack connectors to prevent dirt and moisture contamination - Connectors, mounting and wire length exact match to OE Repair tips: -Fasteners may be corroded or rusty. Apply a liberal coat of penetrating oil before attempting to loosen the hold down bolt. - Clean rust and corrosion from mounting surface to ensure sensor seats properly. - Apply lubricant to o-ring (where applicable) for easier installation. - Return harnesses and retainers (where applicable) to their original positions to prevent damage by moving parts. Replace missing or damaged hardware. -When removing the sensor from the hub, inspect for spacer washer(s). Reuse when installing the new sensor. OE - .078” Insulation Thickness Airtex - .092”

WORLD CLASS TECHNOLOGY

ABS Wheel Speed SensorsSituation: ABS sensors operate in harsh environments, mounted either on the differential or wheel-end. Primary causes of failure are wire breakage or excessive resistance caused by dirt and moisture.

Solution: Airtex AdvantageAirtex sensors are equipped with weather pack connectors, wire sheathing and mounting brackets for addedprotection. Grease packets, mounting hardware and detailed instructions help ensure faster, easier installation.

Benefits:- Direct OE replacement- Longer component life- Faster, easier installation- Performs as well as or better than OE

Instructional video:http://www.airtexve.com/video_honda_abs_hq.html

Features: - Sensors manufactured by Airtex have heavier insulation for greater wire protection-Grease, mounting nut and instruction sheet included, where applicable(most OEs no longer providing grease packet with aftermarket part)

- Sheathing to protect wire harness-Weather pack connectors to prevent dirt and moisture contamination- Connectors, mounting and wire length exact match to OE

Repair tips:- Fasteners may be corroded or rusty. Apply a liberal coat of penetrating oil beforeattempting to loosen the hold down bolt.- Clean rust and corrosion from mounting surface to ensure sensor seats properly.- Apply lubricant to o-ring (where applicable) for easier installation.- Return harnesses and retainers (where applicable) to their original positions to prevent damage by moving parts. Replace missing or damaged hardware. -When removing the sensor from the hub, inspect for spacer washer(s). Reuse when installing the new sensor.
