ABS: NAUTICAL SOLUTIONS & HYDRAULIC CYLINDERSABS began more than 30 years ago as a technicalwholesaler of hydraulic components and systems.In 1992 the cylinder factory was added and in 2004,Hydromarine. In 2015 we sold our hydraulic components company to focus us on Hydraulic Cylinders & Nautical Solutions.

Thanks to our years of experience and very highly skilled employees, we are specialists in the design, manufacture and supply of cylinders, and propulsion systems.

The Veth Z-Drive allows a greater flexibility than conventional drives when planning the setup of the engine room. Because the engine can be placed next to the Veth Z-Drive the space necessary is reduced to a minimum – leaving extra room for passengers or cargo.

The Veth Z-Drive has proven its reliability for many years. With the rudder propeller, independently designed and manufactured, Veth Propulsion shows that high efficiency and excellent manoeuvrability do not have to be a contradiction.

Upon request Veth Propulsion can also deliver the drive line. We can supply the electric motor and the frequency controller for an electrically driven bow thruster. Our experience is extensive and this makes it possible to advice our customers about the different possibilities. Depending on the required power we can also deliver the generator set or shaft generator. This way the electrical input and speed control comply with the requirements.

VETH TUNNEL THRUSTERSThe tunnel thrusters are manufactured using high quality materials and measure up to the strictest classification demands. The complete design gets a lot of attention: from the gears, the bearings and the oil seals up to the streamlined under water housing for optimal efficiency and minimal cavitation. We manufacure Retractable Thrusters, Elbow Thrusters, Aluminium Tunnels and Flexible mounted Tunnel.

The official distributor for the Mitsubishi engines based on the marine business into the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg since 1978. We are also dealer for Wärtsilä marine engines for inland Navigation. Nowadays, Koedood has the biggest stock of Mitsubishi engines spare parts in Europe. If you have stock, you can sell it! Therefore we keep normally on stock about 50 engines, and for 4 million euro spare parts. We are even able to supply a complete package of:• Engine• Gearbox• Box cooler• Silencer• After treatment

Driven by service has grown from a small company to a huge supplier for Mitsubishi engines for Inland Navigation. There is more; Koedood is able to service customers also for Marine Generator sets (up to 3580 kWm) and for Propulsion engines up to 2984 kW.

HYDRAULIC STEERING GEARSABS Hydromarine has entered into an agreement with Marsili Aldo for the exclusive sales rights of Hydraulic steering gear. Marsili Aldo & C . s.a.s. has been in business from 1957 onwards as a manufacturer of hydraulic and electro-hydraulic steering gears and remote controls.

Overall, the pump assembly is 2-3% more efficient than traditional three-phase current sets and the unit is much more compact and lightweight, with less cabling required.

In recognition of its efficiency, the E-motor has been awarded with the Super Premium Efficiency IE4 notation. Prior to introduction, the E-motor successfully completed extensive testing on a sand dredger.

When requested we can install and deliver with or without controls and commissioning.

PUMP DRIVESMarotechniek develops, designs and produces, high efficiency permanent magnet, direct drive and 4-pole electric dredge pump drives for submersible (IP68) use.

Our products are commonly used in the dredge sector, for example on profile dredgers, Trailing Suction hopper dredgers and Cutter dredgers. As a specialist in client specific solutions we use only rotor and stator sets from renown European Electric motor fabricators and we produce the solid housings, flanges and terminal boxes inhouse.

All delivered motors have a full load test. Marotechniek have recently developed a new, groundbreaking electric underwater motor, based om Permanent Magnets Technology. The motor features built-in ‘permanent magnets’, eliminating the need to magnetise the rotor. Elimination of reactive current reduces required amperage, leading to higher efficiency.

Often bow- and sternthrusters produce a lot of noise. ABS Hydromarine reduced this by use of a lubrica-tion free tooth-belt transmission, which is driving a bronze propeller with a great area of blades. This results in a high trust. At the design stadium there is also thought about the environment. The motor is put outside the tunnel and for a hydraulic driven thrusters there can be used environmentally friendly hydraulic oils.

NAUTICAL SOLUTIONS

BOW- AND STERNTHRUSTERS. For manoeuvring your vessel in a port or lock or when the wind is on the bow of your vessel and the vessel is out of speed. Then a bow- and sternthruster will be a great help for manoeuvring.

ABS Hydro Marine is supplying and producing in own factory several types of hydraulic and electric powe-red bow- and sternthrusters.

CYLINDERS: IN MANY SHAPES AND SIZESWe produce hydraulic cylinders with diametersfrom 25 mm to 500 mm and a maximum strokeof 18 metres. Your custom cylinder is our standard,with quick delivery.

To guarantee this speed of delivery, we have a largestock of basic components. Whether it is stainlesssteel cylinders, ceramic rod covering, and cylinderswith distance measuring sensors or an end switch,our professionals can supply it. We work closely withall inspection authorities.
