Admire theviews of the many castles surrounding thelake. Disembark in Spiez and see its medieval castle.Educational Focus: Swiss Government.Switzerland exercises one of the most directforms of democracy in the world. Learn howthe Swiss government’s thriving blend of federal and cantonal power developed.Youth Activity: Bears and Berne. Duringthe lecture, the younger travelers will visit thecity’s new Bear Park located along the shoresof the Aare River. Brown bears have been keptin the city of Berne since the early 1500s.
