PROJECTS:

PARTNERSHIPS

A core part of the STAND offering is our commitment to bring together company and cause. We do this by identifying opportunities that both corporate and NGOs can benefit from, profitably and equitably.

These models are far from charity based. They help companies improve their business whilst taking responsibility for some of the planet’s biggest challenges. Our work with major NGOs across Asia sets out to engage stakeholders in business, politics and academia by creating an ecosystem where each could benefit from a shared purpose.

Conservative estimates show that around a billion people in Asia still suffer from inequality. STAND brought corporate partners to the table, not to make empty promises, but to publicly commit to changing their activities to drive more opportunity for the have-nots.

We believe that the greatest way to drive change is to make partnerships that collectively share resources and personally make commitments.

PROJECTS:

LEADING WITH PURPOSE

Leadership starts at the top and organisations that understand the need to unlock their personal and collective purpose must create the behavior they seek.

STAND works with business leaders across Asia providing personal consulting, alongside the creation of bespoke strategic programmes to drive engagement at board level.

Our recent work with a multinational company saw us offer both private on-demand counsel to Asia based CEOs, alongside activities focused on creating shared purpose and values across their regional leadership team.

This company understood the value of investing in personal growth, the importance of shared purpose and the intangible benefits that shaping their behaviours to complement the cultures of the countries in which they operate could bring.

PROJECTS:

COFFEE

When your ambition and purpose is equally relevant to your private and professional life, it can unlock incredible value. This is what we believe.

As coffee lovers and residents in Thailand we wanted to practice what we preach and our coffee project does just that.

We are working with a number of coffee farmers, Akha tribespeople and buyers in Northern Thailand on a shared project to identify a more ethical, profitable business model for sustainable coffee production.

We believe that we can create a pro-social, pro-business enterprise by lending our experience in economics, development and marketing, bringing together and co-creating a more sustainable coffee value chain, whilst enjoying some fine arabica coffee!

We also leverage this project with our clients, as a field-trip or case study to demonstrate the value of doing well by doing good.
