DKB Service GmbH, a 100 % subsidiary of Deutsche Kreditbank AG, commenced with the development of a new Service Centre in 2008. At the new site in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, DKB Service GmbH renders banking-related services for DKB Bank, such as account processing, the creation of bank accounts as well as the handling of standardised pro-cesses concerning consumer loans. Invest in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern recognised the growing signifi can-ce of the issue of BPO / Shared Services at an early stage. Since 2007, the Grand Hotel Heiligendamm has been the venue for a BPO Summit which extensively addresses various aspects of business process outsour-cing as well as shared services. Distinguished speakers from the world of business and science report on trends and developments. � e BPO Sum-mit in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern is the only event in Germany to date which deals with the subject of the outsourcing of business processes in such a comprehensive manner.
