Knitted/Crocheted Sweaters: Patterns are available on our website for children’s sweaters for the layette kits.

School desks are made from reclaimed school bleachers and countertops.

Donated Bicycles and Sewing Machines are refurbished. Donated Medical Supplies & Equipment are distributed.

About Us Midwest Mission Distribution Center opened for ministry

in 2000. MMDC collects, makes, assembles and restores

supplies for humanitarian and disaster relief. The work is

done by volunteers who come from all over the US to

serve. The 30,000 sq. ft. facility is located on an 8-acre

campus 4 miles south of Springfield, Illinois. MMDC is a

cooperating depot in the United Methodist Committee on

Relief (UMCOR) Relief Supply Network. It is related to

the Illinois Great Rivers Conference and the North Central

Jurisdiction of the United Methodist Church.

Midwest Mission is funded 100% by individual donors and operates with no indebtedness.

Supplies are given free of charge and regardless of gender, race or religion.

Shipping is $1 per kit and $1.50 per bucket. Checks or cash for shipping can be placed separately in

box, but not in individual kits. Please make all checks payable to Midwest Mission.

PLEASE NOTE: Sizes are very specific so all items will fit in the 5-gallon bucket. Bigger is NOT better.
