Foto Cult is a brainchild of Sunil Verma. Born and brought up in Delhi and an MBA graduate, Verma always had an affinity for travel and photography. But he didn’t realize his intensity for the love of it until 2011 when he actually bid adieu to his well settled, lucrative banking career in Dubai, only to follow his passion, and his long cherished dream of becoming a photographer.

In 2012 he came back to India and founded Fotocult. What was started as an organization of a one man army has today grown into a team of multiple photographers, who work very hard to create magic behind the lens in every wedding.

So why should one choose Fotocult? Sunil’s reply is, ‘Well for the simple reason that for Fotocult your wedding isn’t business, for Fotocult it’s a celebration of your love and union. When I am behind the lens I realize that it’s the most important day of your life and I ensure that I capture each and every tiny detail, every emotion of joy through my lens, that may have been missed otherwise in the jiffy of wedding processions. And that exactly is the beauty of candid photography.’ It was only Sunil’s talent of capturing even the simplest things beautifully and meticulously, that first got his pictures published in 2011 in the largest selling newspaper of Middle East – Gulf. In 2013, he also got his work, exhibited at the reputed International photo exhibition at IHC by Delhi photography club. Of course ever since then, there has been no looking back.

Till date, Sunil has shot over 120 weddings peregrinating the length and breadth of India, including destination weddings in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Goa and international wedding projects in Malaysia and Dubai. His work has been appreciated and published in number of newspapers and magazines, including Hindustan Times’ Brunch among others.
