ABOUT ME My name is Sarah Fletcher and I am cur- rently a student at Red Deer Col- lege working my butt off to get into the Middle years program. Since I had a less then great year last year I am now in twelve classes this year trying to make up for the dropping of a class. The town I come from if everyone is home, having extended family and friends visiting may reach a population of 100 people. Its name; Cereal. Yes like the breakfast food! My grade nine class had four people in it, but we still found a way to create as much mastiff as a class of 20. HISTORY I spent most of my child- hood running around outside on the farm with my little brother. We had many good idea’s that seemed to always turn into one of us getting hurt and mom getting mad. ME NOW Currently I am living off campus with my good friend and my dog. We also have a gold fish named Sally. A interesting thing that I learned this year is that dishes is the source of all roommate prob- lems. Since the house I live in now has a dishwasher the fighting and disagreements have disappeared. THINGS I LIKE AND DISLIKE The season I love the most is Spring. There is just some- thing about when the snow melts and flowers come out that is magical. Feet gross me out to the max. They are fine at a distance but as soon as they get close to me I can not handle it. I love the feeling that I get when I solve a problem. I believe this is why I love math so much. Mice scare me more then any- thing in the world. Yes this made me a terrible farm girl and pretty much useless to my step Dad when grain bins needed to be cleaned out. As much as I try I can not seem to over come this fear. AMBITIONS I feel very privileged that I have the opportunity and the abil- ity to learn. To me knowledge is very important in better our- selves and society. I am looking forward to the day when I can teach for a liv- ing. I would love to travel and teach children in third world countries as I feel that it would be providing them with a huge opportu- nity. Grad 2009

Hello, thank you

for taking the

time to learn a

little about me.

ABOUT ME

My name is

Sarah Fletcher

and I am cur-

rently a student

at Red Deer Col-

lege working my

butt off to get into

the Middle years

program. Since I

had a less then great year last year I am

now in twelve classes this year trying to

make up for the dropping of a class.

The town I come from if everyone

is home, having extended family and

friends visiting may reach a population

of 100 people. Its name; Cereal. Yes like

the breakfast food! My grade nine class

had four people in it, but we still found

a way to create as much mastiff as a

class of 20.

HISTORY I spent most of my child-

hood running around outside

on the farm with my little

brother. We had many good

idea’s that seemed to always

turn into one of us getting

hurt and mom getting mad.

ME NOW Currently I am

living off campus with my good friend

and my dog. We also have a gold fish

named Sally. A interesting thing that I

learned this year is that dishes is

the source of all roommate prob-

lems. Since the house I live in now

has a dishwasher the fighting and

disagreements have disappeared.

THINGS I LIKE AND DISLIKE The season I love the most is

Spring. There is just some-

thing about when the snow

melts and flowers come out

that is magical. Feet gross

me out to the max. They are

fine at a distance but as soon as

they get close to me I can not

handle it. I love the feeling that

I get when I solve a problem. I

believe this is why I love math so much.

Mice scare me more then any-

thing in the world. Yes this

made me a terrible farm girl

and pretty much useless to my

step Dad when grain bins needed to be

cleaned out. As much as I try I can not

seem to over come this fear.

AMBITIONS I feel very privileged

that I have the opportunity and the abil-

ity to learn. To me knowledge is very

important in better our-

selves and society. I am

looking forward to the day

when I can teach for a liv-

ing. I would love to travel

and teach children in third

world countries as I feel

that it would be providing

them with a huge opportu-

nity.
