The PH Futures Trainee Conference is sponsored by Informing Healthier Choices (IHC).

IHC is a Department of Health programme to make public health intelligence more accessible, useful and timely, and to give people the tools, skills and knowledge to use it.

The programme has four aims:

2. Improved workforce capacity and capability

3. Improved data and the tools to use it

4. Creation of stronger organisations using intelligence appropriately

5. Development of web-based support for health intelligence

IHC wants everyone with a responsibility for planning and commissioning services for healthy individuals and populations, to be able to have access to the best available knowledge.

The programme delivers knowledge products with partners from across public health and beyond.
