HCJ2017 launched a new topic ‒ Natural Food Products. With increasing tourists, hotels and restaurants are required to accommodate diversifying food habits, including vegan, gluten free, organic foods etc. Hotel and restaurant buyers are eager to reach out to natural food products to satisfy their Japanese and foreign customers. These products pave the way to differentiate themselves from their competitors. The market for the natural food products is yet small compared with the U.S. and EU, but is now growing rapidly. It is a great chance to penetrate into the field of Japanese natural food product market. HCJ2018 will expand its space so that buyers can find products they want.

HCJ2016 launched a new exhibition Hospitality Design Tokyo with more than 300 exhibitors! HCJ2017 expanded the number of booths to 440 booths.As more hotels will be opened by 2020, 5.7 billion JPY investment shall be required for hotel opening rush, according to the article by Mizuho Research Institute, in “Weekly HOTERES,” Ohta Publications.In particular, outdoor furniture is one new growing market in hotels and restaurants.
