The goal of this workshop is to enhance the leadership skills of jobseekers. This program is in partnership with Employment Connection, Towards Employment Inc., and Oriana House’s North Star Neighborhood Reentry Resource Center (NRRC).

NET offers varying levels of assistance with a job search, based on individual needs.

Mandatory NET orientation is every Thursday at 1 PM at the NRRC facility. Program hours at the NRRC are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM and Wednesday 12:00 - 8:00 PM.

Referrals for intensive services/training (4 week intensive program) will be made to Towards Employment’s Networks 4 Success programming (location is 1255 Euclid Avenue, Suite 120). Program hours Monday - Friday 8:30 - 4.00 PM.

STNA classes now available at Tri-C’s new campus located in Westlake.State Tested Nursing Assistant Training – STNA7-9 week half-day mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends and 4-week full-day accelerated courses104 hours of technical training provides career entry into the healthcare industry. Skills, knowledge and abilities obtained prepares individuals to work in long-term care, hospice, rehabilitation facilities and more. Patient Access Specialist9-week half-day morning or 16-week evening available92 hours of technical training that prepares individuals to begin a career in Patient Access departments in area hospitals. Instruction includes phlebotomy and EKG training. Precision Machining Technology (PMT) and CNC14 and 16 week, 256 hour college credit program provides an introduction to the metalworking industry for mechanically inclined individuals who have little or no previous machining experience. Learn the basics with Medical Terminology and the Medical Billing courses. Complete with the Professional Medical Coding Curriculum (PMCC), designed by The American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC). Note: At the completion of the PMCC course, students will be prepared to sit for the Certified Professional Coder (CPC) exam. Upon successful completion of the exam, students with two years of coding experience will achieve the CPC certification. Those without two years experience will be CPC-Apprentices. One year of experience may be substituted with this course.

Alternative Energy Installation CertificateThis 352-contact hour fast-track program will provide participants with the skills necessary to compete for entry-level positions in the fields of alternative energy installation and energy efficiency. Truck Driving Academy 160 hours of classroom and hands-on training that provides instruction in driver safety, transporting cargo safety, air brakes, combination vehicles, tank vehicles and hazardous materials. Training includes pre-trip vehicle inspection, vehicle control, and on-road driving (required for skills testing). Private Security AcademyTri-C’s Ohio Peace Officer Training Commission certified programis designed for individuals either currently employed or seekingemployment in commercial/retail loss prevention, assets protection, private security or other private police functions.
