Getting to Know Us

White Springs is a growing church and it can be a bit tricky to get to know people --

especially if you’re new around here. For that reason, we’re always on the look-out

for ways to not only connect people with God, but also connect people with

people. We want to grow larger and smaller at the same time. Deep stuff.

“Connect” options are all of those things that help our big church feel not-quite-so-

big (excluding any type of enormous shrink ray, of course… which would be an oxymoron

anyway.) They’re opportunities to help people -- infants through adults --feel like

they’re really part of the church, not just attendees.

Does just the thought seem scary or intimidating? Not at White Springs! We don’t

expect you to be a bible scholar (and by the way, none of us are ei-

ther). Our goal is to provide you with a group of people who are on

a journey, just like you, to deepen and apply their faith to the

teachings of Jesus Christ. Our groups are filled with people who will

encourage, support, and care for you. Join us Next Sunday @ 9:15

What does membership mean? Church members commit to joining a spiritual family who provides encouragement and sup-

port. They are called to a higher degree of responsibility, service, and sacrifice. Our pastors

and ministry leaders pledge to assist our members with care, counsel, prayer,

and teaching. It’s our hope that you will commit to being a member at White

Springs.

If you are interested in joining our church family, we invite you to

come forward during the “Time of Response” and indicate your desires to our

pastor. The following will help you in communicating your intentions:

Commit your life to Christ (This means you have placed or want to place your faith in Je-

sus Christ alone as Lord and Savior for the forgiveness of your sins.)

Join our church by baptism (If you are coming as a new Christian who has not been bap-

tized or if you are coming from a church of another denomination that does not practice bap-

tism by immersion)

Join White Springs by statement of faith (You have placed your faith in Jesus Christ alone for

the forgiveness of your sins and have been baptized by immersion by a body of believers of

like faith and practice.)

New Desire’s 24th Annual Women’s Bible Conference

different approach to dissecting and studying the Word. Brenda

Robinson will be the Keynote Speaker; New Desire will be the fea-
