Breathe easy.Thanks to such features as low-VOCwater-based adhesives and low-formaldehydeworksurface backers, Abound has earnedSCS Indoor Advantage™ certification.Abound earned this certification bycomplying with specific requirements,

including the indoor furniture emissioncriteria of BIFMA X-7.1, and therefore thecriteria for LEED EQ 4.5.

Material differences.Abound is available with a variety ofrecycled and recyclable fabrics, includingEco Intelligent® selections like Asana. EcoIntelligent fabrics are certified MBDCCradle to Cradle Gold™, which means theyare designed to be perpetually recycled ina closed loop system, maintaining productvalue through an unlimited number oflife cycles.

Terratex® fabrics, derived from plastic soda bottles, are 100% recycledand 100% recyclable. Using them with Abound can contributetowards LEED MR Credits 4.1 and 4.2. Shown: Snowdrop City Lights.

Low-formaldehyde backer paper on worksurfaceshelps improve office air quality.

Interior Abound surfaces are finished withreclaimed paint to minimize waste.

Reduce, reuse, recycle.Abound customers can choose ourbulk packing option to reduce theamount of packing material deliveredto their sites. This consumes fewer rawmaterials and decreases the amount ofshipping material to be recycled or sentto landfills. We reuse excess paint tocoat non-visible Abound surfaces. Werecycle fabric scraps from the Aboundmanufacturing process, turning themover to a company that shreds it for usein “shoddy” – a fibrous material used intrunk liners by the auto industry. And theparticleboard used in Abound is madeof 100% recycled post-industrial content.
