The following functions are available in Hosting control panel SelfService:
Setting Up Password Self Service
To set up password Self Service, first go to https://cpanel.avectra.com in your web browser. Log in with your currrent credentials.
If this is your first time logging in, you will get a popup about enrolling in Password Self Service. Press the “Click Here” hyperlink to go to the Security Questions setup.
Choose and answer two questions. Make sure you enter your answer twice for each of the questions. Alternatively, if you uncheck the “Hide Answers” checkbox, it will allow you to see you answers and only require you to type them once. When you are done, press the “Enroll” button.
This screen will show that you have successfully enrolled. Click on the “My Info” hyperlink to get to the My Info section of the site.
Make sure your email address is here. If you do need to edit it, hit the “Update” button to save the change. Your Password Self Service is now set up properly.
Changing your AVHOST Password:
If you know your password and wish to change it, first go to https://cpanel.avectra.com in your web browser. Log in with your currrent credentials. If you don’t know your password, see Resetting your AVHOST Password
Click on the “Change Password” tab at the top of the screen
Re-enter your old password in the first field then choose your new password and put it in the proceeding two fields. Make sure it meets the minimum requirements outlined on the page. When done, hit the “ok” button.
Your password has been changed successfully.
Resetting your AVHOST Password:
To reset your password, navigate to https:\\cpanel.avectra.com. From here, click on the “Reset Password” button
Enter your domain user name in the field then press Continue to move onto the security questions.
Answer the security questions you created when you enrolled in the Password Self Service. Fill in the captcha and press “Continue” to move on to the next screen.
From here, you can choose your new password. Enter it twice and fill in the captcha once more. When done, click the reset button at the bottom. Congratulations, your password has been reset.
Unlocking your AVHOST Account
To reset your password, navigate to https:\\cpanel.avectra.com. From here, click on the “Unlock Account” button
Enter your domain user name in the field then press Continue to move onto the security questions.
