INSTRUCTIONS Dear Candidates,

1. I have great pleasure in informing you that based on your GATE Score and relative merit in the Choice of programme/Institute in your application; you have been provisionally admitted to M.Tech. Program (Institute and Branch as per list above) for the Academic Session 2012-13. The allocation of Institution is final and no requests for change shall be entertained.

2. The Teaching Assistantship amount has been approved based on the GATE Score and is shown against each student. Terms & conditions of the same shall be indicated in the admission offer letter being sent separately.

Fee Deposition Schedule

3. The fee structure (Tution Fee) for M. Tech. Program is Rs. 40, 000/- (Rupees Forty Thousand) per semester [Rs. 80, 000/- (Rupees Eighty Thousand) per year].

For JIIT, Noida

• To confirm your admission, you are initially required to deposit Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) (non refundable) out of total Institutional Fee of Rs. 40,000/- (Rupees Forty Thousand) for first semester, by Pay Order or Bank Draft in favour of “Jaypee Institute of Information Technology” payable at “Noida/Delhi” latest by May 15, 2012. This can also be deposited with the Accounts Department at JIIT Noida or may be sent by post to ‘The Registrar, Jaypee Institute of Information Technology, A-10, Sector-62, Noida-201307 (UP)’. Cheques/Cash are not acceptable. Do not forget to write your name & your father’s name behind the Demand Draft (DD).

• Hostel facility is not available on the campus for PG students at JIIT, Noida.

• Balance fee for first semester i.e. Rs. 30,000/- (Rupees Thirty Thousand) shall be payable on 19 July 2012 i.e. date of your registration & commencement of classes.

For JUIT, Waknaghat

• To confirm your admission, you are initially required to deposit Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) (non refundable) out of total Institutional Fee of Rs. 40,000/- (Rupees Forty Thousand) for first semester, by Pay Order or Bank Draft in favour of “Jaypee University of Information Technology” payable at “Shimla” latest by May 15, 2012. This can also be deposited with the Accounts Department at JUIT, Waknaghat or may be sent by post to ‘The Registrar, Jaypee University of Information Technology, P.O. Waknaghat, Kandaghat, Distt. Solan-173234 (HP)’. Cheques/Cash are not acceptable. Do not forget to write your name & your father’s name behind the Demand Draft (DD).

• Limited Hostel accommodation is available and students should therefore contact Registrar at Tele: 01792-245371 or email ID- gs.negi@juit.ac.in. Please note that the hostel fee is Rs. 32,500/- (Rupees Thirty Two Thousand and Five Hundred) per semester. Candidate, who wish to take hostel, should make a DD of Rs. 32,500/- in favour of “Jaypee University of Information Technology payable” at “Shimla” and send the same with Institutional Fee, only after confirmation of hostel accommodation.

• Balance fee for first semester i.e. Rs. 30000/- (Thirty Thousands) shall be payable on 19 July 2012 i.e. date of your registration & commencement of classes.

For JUET, Guna

• To confirm your admission, you are initially required to deposit Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) (non refundable) out of total Institutional Fee of Rs. 40,000/- (Rupees Forty Thousand) for first semester, by Pay Order or Bank Draft in favour of “Jaypee University of Engineering & Technology” payable at “Guna” latest by May 15, 2012. This can also be deposited with the Accounts Department at JUET, Guna or may be sent by post to ‘The Registrar, Jaypee University of Engineering & Technology, AB Road, Raghogarh, Distt. Guna - 473 226 (M.P)’. Cheques/Cash are not acceptable. Do not forget to write your name & your father’s name behind the Demand Draft (DD).

• Limited Hostel accommodation is available and students should therefore contact Registrar at Tele: 07544-267051 or email ID- cd.babu@juet.ac.in. Please note that the hostel fee is Rs. 30,000/- (Rupees Thirty Thousand) per semester. Candidate, who wish to take hostel, should make a DD of Rs. 30,000/- in favour of “Jaypee University of Engineering & Technology payable” at “Guna” and send the same with Institutional Fee, only after confirmation of hostel accommodation.

• Balance fee for first semester i.e. Rs. 30,000/- (Rupees Thirty Thousands) shall be payable on 18 July 2012 i.e. date of your registration & commencement of classes.

4. In case you do not deposit initial amount of Rs. 10, 000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) by due date, your candidature shall be cancelled and seat transferred to the candidates appearing in PGET-2012. No representation to extend the date of submission of dues is accepted under any circumstances.

Registration Schedule

5. You are required to present yourself at respective Institute, along with following documents on the date of registration i.e. 18 July 2012 for JUET, Guna/19 July 2012 for JIIT, Noida & JUIT, Waknaghat.

(a) Character and Transfer/Migration certificate in original from the Head of the Institute/Board/University last attended. (b) Original and self attested copies of Marks Sheets and Certificates of High School and Intermediate (10+2) or equivalent. (c) Original and self attested copies of Marks Sheets and Certificates of the qualifying Examination i.e. B.E/B.Tech/M.Sc

entitling you for the admission to this course. (d) Medical certificate of fitness from MBBS qualified doctor (on his/her letter head or letter head of the hospital) indicating

that you are free from any communicable disease. In case any student is suffering from or ever suffered from diseases which need immediate medical attention like Congenial Heart disease, Rheumatic Septal Deficiency, Bronchial Asthma, Epileptic Fits, Diabetes Mellitus etc, the same must be mentioned in the medical certificate also declared with the medical officer of the Institute at the time of joining to enable quicker and suitable response in case of emergency.

(e) Three copies of passport size colored photograph. (f) Anti-ragging undertaking on a non judicial stamp paper of Rs. 10/- (duly notarized) as per the format attached. NOTE: In case you are not able to submit any document listed at sl. (a), (b), (c) & (d) for the reason beyond your control, you may be allowed to submit the same latest by September 30, 2012 after giving an undertaking and on obtaining approval of the same from the Vice Chancellor. In case you fail to submit the documents by the stipulated date, the admission shall stand cancelled.

Refund Policy

6. Kindly note that no refunds are admissible from the initial payment of Rs. 10, 000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand).

7. Once the candidate registers on 18 July 2012 at JUET, Guna/19 July 2012 at JIIT, Noida & JUIT, Waknaghat & thereafter wishes to withdraw, he/she shall be refunded after deductions @ of Rs. 6,000/- per month [pro-rata of balance amount paid at the time of registration i.e. Rs. 30,000/- (Rupees Thirty Thousand) (semester being of 5 months)]. Please note that part of the month shall be treated as full month.

General Instructions

8. Please note that the Institute reserves the right to withhold the result/cancel the admission at any time during the candidate’s study period because of his/her submitting false information/ facts.

9. The candidate’s acceptance to join the Institute will be taken as his/her acceptance to abide by all the conditions stated above or rules, regulations or standing orders issued by the Institute from time to time. Non observance of any of these conditions or rules, regulations, orders etc. can lead to the student’s removal from the Institute.

10. Ragging is banned in the Institute. Any student indulging in ragging shall be liable for disciplinary action, including expulsion from the Institute.
