To get more children taking part, if you need

1-4 Group A Vouchers- use all from a single set, eg all from Set 1.

5-8 Group A Vouchers- choose from both sets, eg eg 4 from Set 1, and 2 from Set 3

For songwriting, bands can choose their own Pitch Palettes.Use the ‘Choose Your Own’ Vouchers on Page 4!Encourage different groups not to choose the same Pitch Palettes, to keep things varied.

But we‘d recommend using Choose your Own Vouchers from Group D-much more varied so better for songwriting.

NB: Group A instruments give a quite limited choice of emotion/mood.If your school has mostly Group A and B instruments, think about investing in 2 sets of Group D Chime bars- this will vastly increase choice of mood, richness of compositions and children’s enjoyment of pitch activities.
