Future
Spaces for Change & Growth
1. How can we expand other venues to share metadata & images?
2. How can the data be expanded as Open Sources?
3. How can we explore digital humanities with students and scholars?
4. How can we collaboratively create supplemental materials using the images?
5. Can we collaborate further with existing national and international projects such as the National Institute of Japanese Literature's International Collaborative Research Network for Pre‐Modern Japanese Texts?

Transforming Challenges into Opportunities
48Bazzell
• Technological advances have provided the means to share information on a scale never seen before. – BUT it will not be realized until institutions, and the individuals within those institutions, adopt a new philosophy that information is meant to be shared.
• Institutions need to avoid the traditional inward‐looking approach and be proactive in reaching out to a wide range of organizations around the world to form these new partnerships and consortia.
