gulfstream is the world standard® in business and private avia-

tion — the choice of leading companies and affluent individuals

around the globe. owners and operators of gulfsteam jets

now have a magazine that reflects the excellence of the brand:

Nonstop gulfstream™.

the beginninggulfstream aerospace corp. started in the late 1950s, when grum-

man aircraft engineering co. developed a marketable business

aircraft at its manufacturing facilities in bethpage, n.y. dubbed the

gulfstream i (gi), the turbo-prop aircraft was named after the gulf

Stream, the current that flows along the coast of Florida, which was

a favorite vacationing spot for Grumman executives. The newly

developed aircraft was the first of its kind designed specifically for

business travel.

at the end of the 1990s, general dynamics, a giant in the defense

industry, purchased gulfstream. the company focused on enhancing

product performance and lowering costs. it opened a $5.5 million air-

craft refurbishment and completions support facility in savannah, ga.,

in 2000. since that time, gulfstream has continued to be a pioneer in

the development of the world’s best luxury private jets, and has con-

tinued to deliver excellence throughout its business. Here’s how:

■ gulfstream voted no. 1 in worldwide service & support by

Professional Pilot and Aviation International News survey

[aug. 2012]

■ four gulfstream product support groups earn faa diamond

award [June 2012]. Agency Recognizes Expertise at Brunswick,

ramstein and andrews

■ gulfstream g280 flies paris to new york in less than eight hours

[may 2012]. super mid-sized aircraft applies for speed record

■ gulfstream opens service center in beijing, china [feb. 2012].

gulfstream and deer Jet Venture is boon for regional customers

■ gulfstream celebrates 10th anniversary of avionics break-

through [oct. 2011]. tradition of industry-leading research

and development continues

Just as gulfstream aircraft are manufactured with uncommon

precision, Nonstop gulfstream is a precision media vehicle, offering

targeted circulation to some of the wealthiest and most influential

buyers in the world. Advertisers reach and influence this unparal-

leled audience in an environment of exquisite photography and

compelling editorial covering the most exclusive destinations, prod-

ucts and services offered across the globe, all while offering insights

on the people, products and places that are Uniquely Gulfstream.
