DESCRIPTION
The ASEAN Association for Clinical Laboratory Sciences (AACLS) was formerly the ASEAN Association of Medical Laboratory Technologists (AAMLT). The signing of the agreement was done at the first ASEAN Conference of Medical Laboratory Technology (AAMLT) at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Malaya, Kuala Lumpur in April 1985. MIMLS (Malaysia), PATELKI (Indonesia), AAMT (Thailand), SAMLS (Singapore), PAMET (Philippines) and BAMLS (Brunei) are the member associations of AACLS.TRANSCRIPT

Change of Name
• 10th Biennial General Meeting (BGM) on 23 May 2006 in Jakarta, member countries agreed to change the association’s name to The ASEAN Association of Clinical Laboratory Scientists (AACLS).
• ACMLT henceforth is known as the ASEAN Conference of Clinical Laboratory Sciences (ACCLS).
