A.A.C., Rocky Mountain Section. A dinner meeting was held on Decem- ber 9, 1960. Plans for section activities during the coming year were dis- cussed, and two members presented very interesting talks. Gerry Cunning- ham described his research for the Air Force on cold weather clothing and other problems in the design of mountaineering equipment. Bill Davis showed slides of the Mount St. Elias Range in the Yukon Territory and Alaska with an entertaining account of his climbs in the area. We have welcomed the presence, as temporary residents of our area, of A1 Baxter, Dick Irvin, and Bob Swift. Irvin and Swift have been members of the Academic Year Institute at the University of Colorado and have been generous with their time in giving programs for the benefit of the

Rocky Mountain Rescue Group. We had a brief visit from Dr. Tom Horn- bein shortly after his return from the successful Masherbrum Expedition.
