The input / output module DC1192 is usedfor the operation of a collective line, or forthe connection of monitored alarm devicesThe DC1192 always requires a sepa-rate 24V supplyIt can be used in dry, dusty and wet areas

a) Collective fire detection system(CFDS)In the CFDS, the DC1192 is used for gal-vanic isolation (detection line coupler) be-tween the control unit and e.g. shunt Ze-ner diode barriers with fire detectors forexplosion-hazard areas.

b) Interactive fire detection system(IFDS)In the IFDS the DC1192 can be connectedto the line direct as bus user. It can be usedas a collective line to connect special col-lective or explosion-proof detectors, or toactivate alarm devices.

c) Fire detection systemAnalogPLUS (FDSAP)In the FDSAP the DC1192 can carry outthe same functions as in the IFDS.DesignThe DC1192 input/output module consistsof a housing with cover DCA1191 and theterminal plate DCB1192A which is re-quired for wiring, as well as the pluggableelectronics unit DCA1192A on which aremounted the key for address allocation,programming jumpers and switches, aswell as LED indicators. The housing has sixM20x1.5 threaded conduit cable entries.

Die Adressierart ist zentralenspezifischunterschiedlich und ist im entsprechen-den Zentralendokument beschrieben.Fr die Adressierung durch Alarmierenist auf dem Schaltungseinsatz eine Ta-ste plaziert. Die korrekte Adressierungwird durch Blinken der roten LED ange-zeigt.Taste und LED sind nur bei offenem Ge-huse zugnglich.Auslsen der Steuerlinie: Taste drk-ken.

Commissioning

Before inserting the electronics unit,the jumper and DIL switch must be cor-rectly programmed!

Once the electronics unit is inserted itmust not be re-programmed.Only for the interactive andAnalogPLUS system

The form of addressing depends on thecontrol unit and is described in the cor-responding control unit documentation.A key is provided on the electronics unitfor addressing by means of alarm. Cor-rect addressing is indicated by the flash-ing of the red LED.Key and LED are only accessible withcover open.For the actuation of the control line:Press the key.
