(1) HistoryAn Airworthiness Directive (AD) is anticipated on “Stop Rudder Input Warning” function(SRIW) applicable to A330-200 and A330-300 models aircraft with mechanical ruddercontrol (MOD No. 49144S16279 is not embodied).As mentioned by OIT 999.0020/16–01 and by Ref. ISI 27.90.00045, this anticipated ADon SRIW will entail the replacement of 2K0 and 2K1 Flight Control Primary Computer(FCPC) hardware by 2K2 FCPC hardware.Airbus recommends operators to initiate this FCPC 2K0/2K1 hardware replacementas soon as possible by contacting equipment supplier (refer to paragraph 2.D of thisService Bulletin).

(2) Objective/ActionThis Service Bulletin enables the replacement of FCPC standards M25 (2K0 hardware)and P16/M25 (2K1 hardware) by FCPC P15/M24 (2K2 hardware).To accomplish this Service Bulletin, FCPCs have to be replaced on aircraft.
