Let this amount be deposited with Registrar Judicial of this Court and an its deposit, the same shall be disbursed to the appellant against proper receipt". Whereas, the petitioner is seeking implementation of aforesaid Court order dated: 03-07-2014 passed by the Division Bench of Hon 'ble High Court at Jammu whereunder an amount of Rs.1.00 lac as compensation has been directed to be paid to victim namely Miss Roman Lata victim of Acid attack; and Whereas, the issue pertains to compensation on account of Acid Attack on the. daughter of the petitioner which took place on May, 2012 at Badiyal Brahmina, Bus Stand in R.S.Pora Town; 'and Whereas, the petitioner filed the writ petition bearing No: OWP No: 61/2014 seeking compensation as per the policy. The Hon'ble Court considered the said writ petition vide Order dated: 30-01-2014 with the observation that Ld. Advocate General shall, come up with a statement, indicating time frame for formulating the policy to rehabilitate acid attack victims and x:~~vide medical treatment including corrective plastic surgery C special psychiatric treatment to such victims; and

Whereas, the Division Bench of the Hon 'ble High Courtconsidered the LPAOW No: 39/2014 & CMA No: 48/2014titled Santosh Kumari VIs State and others, filed by thepetitioner and vide Order dated: 03-07-2014 observed asunder:-

"Keeping in view the hardships beingfaced by the girl andher parents, State is directed to pay a sum of Rs.l lacs asinterim measure to the appellant within a week's time only. Whereas, against the order dated: 30-01-2014, thepetitioner filed an LPA before the Division Bench of theHon 'ble High Court praying therein to set aside the order of thewrit court and official respondents be directed to provideimmediate relief to the petitioner; and

Whereas, the case was again listed before the Hon 'bleCourt on 13-08-2014. The Hon'ble Court has shown itsdispleasure for non implementation of its earlier directionsissued vide order dated 03-07-2014 and further directed to therespondents to implement the direction within week's time,failing which the Hon'ble Court may pass adverse ordersagainst the State/respondent.

Now, therefore, case of the petitioner Santosh Kumarihaving been considered in compliance to the order dated03.07.2014 passed by the Hon'ble Division Bench, J&K HighCourt Jammu and an amount of Rs.1.00 lac is sanctioned infavour of appellant Santosh Kumari on the directions of theHon'ble Court. The amount will be drawn by Director Financepaid to petitioner through Court and debited to proper headunder "ex-gratia relief'.
