This was the opening talk in the API track at the Service Delivery Innovation Event, London, Sept 2014. Hence it is sub-divided in two parts: Part One is about getting “in the mood for APIs”. It is about a general and high level view of how I think the world is currently changing for everyone, and what the API Economy seems to be about.
