A warm welcome to the "Advanced worshop in Embriology" event.

I would like to inform you that as of 28 April 2014 the name of ourFoundation changed to EXCEMED – Excellence in Medical Education. Thename change will not impact your registration status in this or any otherFoundation event.

This transition marks an exciting point in the evolution of the Foundation.We are proud to have provided world-class education to thousands ofhealthcare professionals over the past four decades - as a result, theFoundation has become synonymous with delivery excellence and high-impact CME.

Aim of the courseSuccess in ART depends on carefully controlled conditions in every step ofthe laboratory routine. In addition, continuous advance in technologyrequires constant revision of good laboratory practice and introduction ofnew techniques.This course aims to improve the participants’ knowledge on the latestimprovement of new technologies and laboratory practice guidelines. Thecourse offers an interactive program with specialized lectures tailored tofit the needs of Physicians and Embryologists working in ART, followed byvideo sessions and debates on hot topics. The aim is to provide theattendees with the possibility to actively discuss pertinent topics that havebeen the subject of controversy and innovation with renowned scientist andembryologists. Arguments of discussion will include how to provide theoptimal laboratory conditions, the culture environments and the selectioncriteria for human embryos.

Learning objectivesBy attending this live educational workshop the learners will be able to:• Identify the ideal culture conditions to obtain embryos with highimplantation potential

• Assess the new objective criteria to select “the best” embryo toward aSingle Embryo Transfer

• Define the Good Laboratory Practice to improve quality management inIVF laboratory

Target audienceThis course is aimed at scientists, embryologists and biologists, as wellinterested clinicians with experience in this field who seek to enhance theirknowledge of new technologies.

AccreditationAn application has been made to the EACCME ® for CME accreditation ofthis EXCEMED course “Advanced workshop in embryology” to be held on28-29 November 2014 in St. Petersburg, Russian Federation.
