Together We Shine Recap- Together We Shine was a tre- mendous success once again! $15,476 was raised for North- land. Donors generously gave over 80 items for aucon. Highlight on Music -- Several students have competed at District Solo and ensemble Fesvals. A few have been judged worthy of a gold medal, and also to move on to the State Fesval in May. They are: Wya Jensen, Tenor Solo David Burgess, Tenor Solo Maya Price, Piano Solo Other parcipants and their results are as follows: Emily Riedel, Clarinet Solo - silver ; Piano Solo - gold Kate Loucks, Trombone Solo - silver David Burgess, Musical Theater Solo - gold Maya Price, Alto Solo - gold Hailey Russ, Piano Solo - silver Emma Loucks, Piano Solo - gold Anastasia Schimmel, Vocal Solo - silver; Musical Theater Solo- silver Andrew Schimmel, Vocal Solo - gold; Musical Theater Solo - gold We congratulate these students for their efforts and success, and wish Wya, David, and Maya well for the State compeon. While students across the country parcipated in walkouts on March 14, Northland Lutheran High School students assembled for a prayer service, and a presentaon by the Kronenweer Police Depart- ment on gun safety and school se- curity. Posive notes of Chrisan love and concern are posted on every student’s locker, and we pray God to use us to befriend those around us, sharing Jesus’ love and forgiveness. Christ is Risen!
