A vital part of the European frontier
The EIT, established by the EU Commission, is a newly-started independent body within research, innovation and education. It aims to be key driver of sustainable European competitiveness through the stimulation of leading edge innovation in research and education that impact society.
The first step was to create three KICs within climate change, information and communication technology, and sustainable energy. KTH is a major partner in two out of the three KICs.
