Turn-On 98FM Campaign - Brief

STAFF: Thunders, 98FM Staff, DJ’s

DATE: Monday 17th August – Friday 11th September

TIME: 10am – 6pm

MERCHANDISE: €98 spot-prizes, Air-fresheners, Car-Stickers, Pens, etc.

LOCATION: 98FM Lockup, Merchant’s Yard, East Wall Road, Dublin 1 (5min walk from 3 Arena. Take LUAS Red-Line to The Point – location will be shared in Whatsapp Group) Seán will inform you each day which area of Dublin you will be working in.

THUNDER DUTIES:

Approach potential listeners in their cars at rush hour times and ask if they are listening to 98FM. We will have 2/3 spot-prizes of €98 to give away at random to people who are already tuned in. The giveaways will be done during live-links with the DJ’s on-air. Also give out 98FM Merchandise.

In residential areas, interact with people at their doors / in their workplace. Again, find out if they regularly listen to 98FM, what they like/don’t like about the station, and hand out 98FM Merchandise.

If you have any issues, questions or problems during a workday, say it to Seán or one of the other Permanent Thunders (Carly, Becca, Thomas) or a member of 98FM Staff on the team that day.
