Recently, My friend has asked about my job, he has asked the following : Why Do I like this work? Why Have I studied management and logistic?

Well, I answered him, I have studied management and specifically logistic, because I have liked since 1998, There I have started with logistic, When I worked at Santa Isabel supermarket. In Santa Isabel supermarket I did my first trip for work, I went to Santiago de Chile. But, this trip wasnt for pleasure or holiday, It was for work, I repeat, when I worked for Santa Isabel supermarket.

Fifteen years ago, I flew to the city of Santiago de Chile with my boss and a partner. There, We worked in a logistic project. This trip allowed me to know something about the Chilean culture.

One of the first things I noticed in Santiago de Chile is that people eat out a lot. They spend a lot of time in cafes and bars. You find people having breakfast, or tea, in a bar, not just lunch and dinner. People who work go out to a bar to have coffee, they dont have it in their office.

Another thing I noticed is that the women talk very fast and very loudly, much more than men. Women and men speak with a strong and different accent and sometimes I had some problems understanding them. For example they use the singular word when the word is plural.

Another thing I noticed is that the women dress very well, especially older women. Women dress better than men. Many women dress very fashionably and men casually.I could notice that Chile is a country that is divided into classes, appearance, religion and politics. But, in general, people are very friendly and generous, but, also there are some aggressives and arrogants people. Theres a myth that the Chilean dont work hard, I dont think its true. Many people have a long lunch break, but they finish work very late.

Of course, we went out to know the city, We knew The Providencia, its one of the most traditional parts of the capital. There are a lot of offers for shopping, dining and nightlife, Providencia is a compact neighborhood, and walking is the best way to get to know it. Also, We knew another places like the presidential palace called Casa de la Moneda, Plaza de Armas and of course the building Miebach Logistic where we have worked for 15 days.
