A Tribute To Ruby Merrill

We are grateful for Mom and the impact she had on all our lives. She lived for the glory of God. Sheloved Jesus with a deep passion. She personified grace. She was filled with faith. She loved completely.She was a prayerful, unselfish servant of God. She was a voracious reader with a grateful spirit.Everyone has strengths and weaknesses but mom was the exception to that rule. She didn't seem tohave any weaknesses.I've said many times that Ruby Merrill was the most gracious woman on the planet. Mom lived grace,showed grace and shared grace. I've been the recipient of her grace for many years. Thank You, Lordfor mom's life and example. We will miss her but we are thankful that now her faith has become sight.

Moments before mom went home to be with the Lord, she kept repeating these words...”OnlyGod...Only God.” I wrote this “Only God Psalm 23” as a tribute to her.

Only God is my Good Shepherd, I shall not want.Only God makes me lie down in green pastures,

Only God leads me beside quiet waters,Only God restores my soul.

Only God leads me in paths of righteousness for His Name's sake.

Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,I will fear no evil,

For Only God is with me;Only God's rod and staff comfort me.

Only God prepares a table for me in the presence of my enemies.Only God anoints my head with oil, my cup overflows.

Only God's goodness and mercy will follow me all the days of my life,And I will dwell in Only God's house forever.
