This year, the Golf “Fore” KidsAbility Classic golf tournament will be dedicated to the memory of John Lynch – a respected community leader and Rotarian who embodied Rotary’s motto of “Service Above Self.” In addition to serving as President of KidsAbility’s Centre and Foundation Boards, John acted as Treasurer for the One Voice One Vision Campaign as well as the Grand River Hospital Foundation. John was also active in the Gyro Club of KW and the cba. John was recognized for his community contributions with Rotary’s Paul Harris Fellowship, the KidsAbility Award in 2005, the City of Waterloo Award in 2007 and the Queen Elizabeth Diamond Jubilee Award in 2012.
