PASS-PORT can be accessed directly from the College of Education and Professional Studies home page (http://uco.edu/ceps).

Click “ePortfolio” to continue.

After selecting ePortfolio, you will see the above page.Click “Click Here to Login to PASS-PORT” to go to the PASS-PORT login page.

Each time you access PASS-PORT, your username will be your UCONNECT user name ([email protected] would be jsmith222). Your password will be

“pass-port” without the quotes for the first log-in.

After logging in this will be the screen you will see each time.

We will begin by adding your artifacts to the Artifact Bin.Click “ARTIFACTS” to access your Artifact Bin

Acceptable file types will be the same as with Chalk and Wire (e-Portfolio) These include PDF (Adobe), Microsoft Office (not Microsoft Works), and JPEG.

To upload files, Click “Files” at the top or the blue square in the center

We will now upload the artifacts into the artifact bin.

Click “Upload File Here”

1. Click “Browse”2. Locate and select the file which you are wanting to upload and click “Open”

3. Type a nickname for the file4. Type a description of the file

Congratulations, your file has now been successfully uploaded into your artifact bin.

After logging in this will be the screen you will see each time.

We will begin by adding your Field Experience to the Artifact Bin.Click “ARTIFACTS” to access your Artifact Bin

To begin or continue a Field Experience, click the purple box in the center or Field Experience button across the top

To begin a new Field Experience, click “Initiate New Field Experience”

If you are needing to continue a Field Experience which has already been initiated, it will be listed in the area below OPEN FIELD EXPERIENCES.

You will need to click the button labeled “Select” next to the Field Experience you are needing to complete.

You will now be naming this Field Experience. Enter a name in the box and click “Select”

Now, you will need to select the date for the Field Experience. You can view a calendar by clicking the icon to the right of the box.

Once you have the correct date, click “Select” to continue.

Select the course for the Field Experience from the drop down list and then click “Select” to continue to the next page.

Now, you will need to select the level for this field experience, select from the drop down list and click “Select” to continue.

At this point, you will select the site at which the Field Experience occurred form the drop down list. If the site is not listed, you will enter it in the box below the

drop down list. After your site has been entered, click “Select”

You will now select the contact for the Field experience from this list. If the contact is not listed, enter their name in the box below the drop down list.

After the contact has been selected, click “Select” to continue to the next page.

You have now created the basic information for the field experience. Now, you will click “Edit Basic Info First” to begin entering information for the Field

Experience.

You will now enter the basic information for the Field Experience. The top two boxes are required for the field experience and the third is optional. After you have

input the information, click “Save” to continue completing the Field Experience.

After the basic information has been input, you will need to complete the Required information sections. To complete these sections, click “Edit” for

each section. After all information for each section has been input, continue to the next slide

Once all required sections have been completed, you will be able to complete your Field Experience. To complete the Field Experience, click

“Complete Field Experience”.

After you click “Complete Field Experience” you might see the above Questionnaire. Each question is required for completion of the Field Experience. After each question has been answered, click “Submit”.

Upon completion of the Field Experience and the Questionnaire, you will see your completed Field Experience under “COMPLETED FIELD EXPERIENCES”.

Begin by viewing your folios page. Click “Folios” to begin.

You will access your folio from this screen. Your folio will be a “Portal Folio”.

To create your Portal Folio, click “Create Folio” next to Portal Folios

This is your Folio. Check the top line to verify it is the correct level (Undergraduate or Graduate). If you have the wrong level or wrong major,

please contact [email protected] stating your issue.

You have now successfully created your folio.

Begin by viewing your folios page. Click “Folios” to begin.

Next, you will need to click on the title of your folio “Undergraduate – Teacher Education…” to view your folio.

After your folio opens, scroll down until you see the above two buttons. Click “Add Artifact From Bin” to add an artifact.

Selecting the appropriate artifact can be done by clicking either “Files” on the top, or the blue square in the center of the screen.

Click one of these to select the artifact which you would like to add to your folio.

Click “Attach Artifact” to begin.

At this time, you will be submitting your work. To do this:1.Select the artifact; in this case it is the Code of Ethics

You can attach a note for the reviewer of this artifact. If you would like to attach a note, type it in the textbox and then click “Next”

You should now see the above screen. Verify the information is correct and click “Finish” to submit the artifact for review.

Begin by viewing your artifact's page. Click “Artifacts” to begin.

Next, you will need to click “Submit For Review” to submit your Field Experience.

Select Teacher Education Services from the drop down list and click "Next"

You can add a note for the instructor. This step is not required.

Click "Next"

Verify all information and click "Finish".

If any information is incorrect, click "Back" to correct it.

Your field Experience has now been submitted.

Begin by viewing your folios page. Click “Folios” to begin.

Next, you will need to click on the title of your folio “Undergraduate – Teacher Education…” to view your folio.

Locate the artifact you would like to withdraw from evaluation and click

“Withdraw Eval”

Now you will see where you submitted your artifact, and the course.

Click Remove to withdraw this artifact from evaluation.

After clicking “Remove” you will return to your folio.

You have now successfully withdrawn your evaluation.
