Welcome and thank you for attending the 1st Annual Midwest Summer Smart Car Rally! I hope you enjoy

this fun filled weekend in the Wisconsin Dells. This reference guide will provide you with the who, what, when,

and where information during the weekend activities. While having such a large group and car rally, the main

goal is to have fun, but to also be safe. Remember, when driving in a group with other Smarts, we all must

follow the local and state laws of Wisconsin. Once again, this Smart guide is to help answer your questions

about the rally, but if something does come up and you happen to get lost or need something else you can call

us for assistance. See you at the Dells!

Friday June 12th

Arrive at the Wisconsin Dells and Check into your Hotel/Motel Room

6:00 pm- Meet n’ Greet at Timber Falls/Pedro's Mexican Restaurant Parking Lot. We will collect for the dinner

($15 cash) and Jeff will hand out parking passes for those who have prepaid. We will also assign you to your

group (A, B, or C) for Saturday’s convoy to the ferry and the park.

7-9:00 pm- Eat at Paul Bunyan's Restaurant (It’s all you can eat, so pig out!!)

9:00 pm-? - Up to you (Bars, Clubs, shows, etc…)

*Just a friendly reminder, for those who will be patronizing the local establishments, please drink smart and

either call a cab, designate a driver, or call one of us if you have any problems or need a ride. We would like

everyone to be safe while you are having fun. Remember, we won’t have the money to bail you out!

Saturday June 13th

7-9:30am: Breakfast at: Howie’s Restaurant, Country Kitchen, Mr. Pancake, or Paul Bunyan’s (Optional)

10:00 am: Meet at Monk’s Bar & Grill (South Location, Google Earth map)

10:45am: Drive to Devils Lake State Park (See Maps B)

For those with a parking pass; please drive directly to the shelter.

For those without a Devils Lake Parking Pass first drive to the office on the north or south side of the

park, get a parking pass, and then join us on the south side at White Pine Shelter.

11:30am: Arrive at White Pine Shelter, have lunch (Bring your own meal, 5’ x 2’ charcoal grill is available),

Q&A with SmartUSA President Dave Schembri, and our Prize Raffle! (Don’t forget to bring cash!!!)

2:00pm: Driving Tour around the Dells Region (See Maps C)

3:30pm: On your own (See Page 8 for Things to Do)

6:30pm: Big Sky Twin Drive-In Theater (Movie starts at Dusk)
