A vape is a portable battery powered device that consists of four main components – mod, tank, coil and Lithium Ion battery (either inbuilt or removable). The coil contains a wire heating element and cotton wicking material and is inserted into the tank. The tank is filled with e-liquid and is attached to the mod. The mod is the control centre of the vape, holding the battery and often with various selectable modes to suit different user preferences. When the power button is pressed on the mod the coil inside the tank heats up and caused the e-liquid to turn into a vapour which is inhaled by the user through the drip tip (mouthpiece) at the top of the tank. Different liquids have different ratios of VG/PG and these ratios affect e-liquid characteristics such as flavour intensity, throat hit and vapour production. Common and popular ratios are 50/50, 70/30 and Max VG (VG of 80% or above). The below graphic provides more information about VG/PG.

How much e-liquid will I use?The amount of e-liquid used on a daily basis will vary from person to person and is impacted by the vape device being used and its settings. A light vaper may only use a couple of millilitres a day while a heavy vaper may use 10mls or more.

What device is best for me?Questions to ask yourself when shopping for a vape are: • Experience level – is this your first vape purchase or

an upgrade?

• Ease of use – do you like to customise settings and try out different modes or do you prefer “plug and play” type devices?

• Portability and appearance – do you want a pocket-sized device you can easily carry all day or would you like a larger heavier device with longer battery life?

• Stealth or show – do you want a large device to grab the attention of others or would you prefer a less noticeable device?

Your local vape store will be happy to help guide you to a device that is right for you.

How do I care for my device?Priming a new coil makes sure the wicking material is fully soaked with juice before use. Put a few drops of juice onto the exposed wick on the sides of the coil. Assemble your atomiser and fill with juice. Let your vape sit for 10 minutes and your new coil will be ready to go.

When your coil needs replacing you will notice the flavour is not as good and it is harder to draw on your vape. Coils life will vary with how often you use your vape but should be changed on average every 2 or 3 weeks.

Every few weeks or when you change flavours dramatically you should dismantle your atomiser and remove the coil. Rinse all parts except coil under warm water and allow to dry. Wipe coil clean (do not wash) or install new coil. Reassemble and vape on.

Tips & Trouble ShootingAlways make sure to read the manufacturer’s instructions for your product before use.Q. My Vape is leaking

A. Clean out the atomiser and check seals are intact. Reassemble, do not over tighten, and fill to under half way.

Q. My Vape has a burnt taste

A. Check you have juice in the atomiser and the coil has been soaked and primed. Replace coil every two or three weeks depending on use.

Q. My battery isn’t charging/turning on

A. Make sure you are using the right charger as per instructions. Ensure battery is the right way around and charging cable is not damaged

Q. My Vape display says “atomiser short” or another error message and is not working.

A. Disconnect atomiser from mod, clean the 510 connector at base of atomiser and socket on mod – juice or dirt can cause a poor connection. Replace the coil, it may be worn out or faulty.
