RESOLUTION NO. 1450 -14

A RESOLUTION OF THE OF THE TOWN OF FLORENCE, PINALCOUNTY, ARIZONA, ADOPTING THE BUDGET FOR THE FISCALYEAR 2014-2015.

BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the Town of Florence, Arizona, as follows:

WHEREAS, in accordance with the provisions of Title 42, Sections 17101,

17102, 17103, 17104, and 17105, A.R.S., the Town Council did, on July 7, 2014, makean estimate of the different amounts required to meet the public expenditures for theensuing year, also an estimate of revenue from sources other than direct taxation, andthe amount to be raised by taxation upon real and personal property of the Town ofFlorence; and

WHEREAS, in accordance with said sections of said title, and following duepublic notice, the Council met on July 7, 2014, at which meeting any taxpayer wasprivileged to appear and be heard in favor of or against any of the proposedexpenditures of tax levies; and

WHEREAS, it appears that publication has been duly made as required by law, of said estimates together with a notice that the Town Council would meet on July 7, 2014, at the office of the Council for the purpose of hearing taxpayers and making taxlevies as set forth in said estimates; and

WHEREAS, it appears that the sum to be raised by taxation, as specified therein, does not in the aggregate amount exceed that amount as computed pursuant to A.R.S.

42- 17051.

THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the said estimates of revenue and

expenditures shown on the accompanying exhibit, marked as Exhibit A, as now

increased, reduced, or changed are hereby adopted as the budget of the Town ofFlorence, Arizona, for the Fiscal Year 2014 -2015.
