1.6: Birthdays & Boyfriends

Last time, Harry got promoted a lot and both Luke and James grew up to be teenagers. While Luke is still looking for a girlfriend, James has his heart set on Anissa Steel…

“MWAAHAHA, I love sneaking up on people!”Just don’t sneak up on Anissa like that, okay?

Monika was trying out yet another skill – writing. Who knows what she’ll do next?

That evening, James invited Anissa over to see her for the first time since they had both become teenagers.

“Anissa.. I… I’ve liked you since we first met. I think we have some real chemistry.”“Really? I think so too!”

“Anissa, will you be my girlfriend?”“Of course, silly!”

Harry’s promotion to THE TOP OF HIS JOB (LTW complete!) earned him a fancy car and uniform.

“Homework is so hard.”“Yeah… that’s because your mind is elsewhere.”“Huh?”

“Dad? I think Luke is worried because he can’t find a girlfriend.”“Girlfriend, hmm… I can get him one of them!”“Uh, no you can’t.”

The next day, Saturday, Luke headed to the gym to see if working out would make him any more attractive.

“Hi! I’m Luke and-”“Yeah, yeah, whatever. Before you start hitting on me because I’m so beautiful, I have a boyfriend.”“Uhh… okay.”

“Hey, I’m Luke. What happened to your hair?”“What? Oh, nothing, I’m just making a statement.”“That’s cool.”

“Look, Luke, you seem nice, but I have a boyfriend…”REALLY!?

Back at the house, Luke was enjoying being in a relationship.

“Hi son, what’re you reading?”“How to pick up girls.”

That seemed to give Harry some ideas.

Oh dear. When I saw this, I literally screamed. ONE WOOHOO! Neither of them have fertility treatment, they’re adults AND it was risky so there’s a lower chance anyway!

“I know this feeling…”Me too.

The next morning, the ‘friendly neighbourhood Repo man’ decided to pay a visit.

“WHY ARE THERE NO TEENAGE GIRLS HERE!?”My thoughts exactly, Luke.

My fears for Monika were soon confirmed.

“Hmm, for a pregnant old lady, I look pretty good.”

“Maybe I’ll meet someone today, James.”“Maybe.”

After no luck at school, Luke went to the local park, and met Natasha Keaton.

They talked for a long time, and found that they had several common interests. On top of that, Luke really liked her.

“James, James! I’ve found the perfect girl.”“Great!”“There’s a small problem though… she already has a boyfriend.”

“Well that’s easy enough – you just have to get her to like you more than him, and ask her to break up with him. Who is it?”“Humberto.”“Oh dear, she has bad taste in men.”“HEY!”

“For a pregnant lady, you look pretty hot.”“Thanks, I like to think so.”

It was finally time for Harry’s birthday.

“Not bad!”

The next evening, Harry invited Natasha round.

Unfortunately, they didn’t chat much as they were interrupted by Monika giving birth.

Please welcome Anna Windsor to the family!

“Uh oh, I’m not done yet.”REALLY?

The other addition to the family is Olivia Windsor!

“She’s so tiny and perfect! I want loads of children!”I think not.

Since I have no time for babies (and they were born late at night), they grew up the next day. This is Olivia…

…and this is Anna!

Later the same day, it was Monika’s turn to grow old.

The house basically turned into toddler school.

After school, Luke was invited round Natasha’s house.“This is my chance…”

“Natasha, I think you’re really cool.” “I think you are too, Luke!”“And I like you as more than a friend…”

“You do? But Luke… I have a boyfriend already.”

“I really like you. Will you break up with him, and be with me?”“Yes. It’s over between me and Humberto.”

Lastly, after all the birthdays this chapter, it was time for Luke to grow into an adult!
