Why would RGF announce the appointment of Rick Hill as president of the newly formed program, CCD (Certified Commercial Distributor), with a background like this? Well, as Hill puts it, "one needs a sense of humor to work with Ron Fink." An Interview with Rick Hill, President-RGF CCD Program

Rick Hill joined RGF in February 2003. His background includes a BS Degree, 25 years experience in direct selling and 5 years experience in air purification. Rick has achieved unbelievable sales results and has exceeded every sales record ever given him! For the secret of Rick's success, "RGF News" asked him for an exclusive interview.

RGF: Rick, time is money, so let's get to the point. What's the secret?

Rick: Well, I'll tell you the same thing I told Time, Newsweek, Business Week and Playboy: "There is no secret! The products sell themselves. You simply have to find the people who need them and tell them about the RGF products they need and, Shazam! A sale is made. I call it my 'find a need and fill it' concept."

RGF: "Find a need and fill it." That's brilliant, Rick! Hey, this is off the record, but do you know how I can make a million dollars?

Rick: It's easy! Find a way to make something for $1.00 and sell it for $2.00. Then do it a million times!

RGF: Unbelievable! Brilliant! Awesome! Why didn't I think of that? Ok, back to business. How do RGF products sell themselves?

Rick: Well, that's simple! Let's take one product at a time.

Commercial Air Purification System (APS). This is a real no brainer. You simply find companies that have indoor air problems, like who doesn't! Then you show them the results on mold, bacteria, odors, VOC's, radon, even mercury! Then when they see the stealthy, brushed stainless steel, high-tech look, its just so easy, well Bozo the Clown could sell it! Hey, let's scratch the Bozo line. I got a little carried away!

RGF: Sure Rick, no problem! What else does RGF have?

Rick: The Commercial Advanced Oxidation Air Purification products are unreal! They are price competitive, lightweight, require no maintenance, and come with a three or five-year warranty. It's too good to be true! You simply can't lose a sale! The competition on air systems is still using corona technology, which produces nitric acid and nitric oxide, which drastically reduces the life of the system and the user! Also, our Marine line, with the air purification product line. Boats do not have to run the air conditioning system 24 hours a day to prevent mold and mildew. Do you know how much money that can save?! It's like a candy store! RGF has so many great, innovative industrial products, and now they're bringing them to commercial market, restaurants, resorts, hotels, nail salons, medical offices and veterinarians. I could go on, but I'm getting a little emotional. Could we move on?

RGF: Sure Rick. I would hate to see a grown man cry. That's Barbara Walter's thing, not mine. Let's move on. How did you end up at RGF?

Rick: Well, it's kind of a natural transition. You see I've been in MLM sales for over 25 years. Commercial sales and Distribution is the next step, and RGF is the perfect match! When I first visited RGF three years ago, I started hyperventilating. It was quite embarrassing at the time! Hey, how about cutting the hyperventilating part!

RGF: So, when you say, "the next step," does that mean that RGF is going to be a networking or MLM company now? Are you going to compete with Shaklee?

Rick: No. We are seeking a few good dedicated folks, preferably with a technical sales background, who want to take cutting edge small environmental commercial technology like RGF has and either do that full time or supplement their current sales. For example, there are a few over at Shaklee that are doing very well with the AirSource residential products, but they have a background in sales or a real desire to sell a complete line of commercial products. They are certainly not going to quit one to do the other, and we would never encourage that. Others with no MLM background at all will be attracted to the aggressive commissions we will be paying. We will be announcing our marketing plan soon, but just to lift the lid a little for a sneak peek, do the words "company yacht" ring your bell?

RGF: Whoa…knowing what we do about you and Ron, this could be one crazy sales program! How did you land the presidency of the RGF CCD Program?

Rick: This is a new company dedicated to developing a few professional distributors, basically an elite, independent group, to sell RGF's commercial products. Ron Fink and I came up with the idea after we had successfully launched the residential and mobile units at Shaklee. Commercial sales just naturally follows but fewer Shaklee people would actually do commercial sales. We are looking for a core group to lead the charge, and not just from Shaklee but from anywhere.. So, you know what they say about opportunity: when it knocks, you better take advantage of it, as it doesn't knock twice.

RGF: I like that "opportunity knocks" quote. I'm going to write that one down. So, how do you like RGF so far?

Rick: Well, it's great! First, I love the weather and Palm Beach, not to mention my office. It's great - as nice as Ron's only it's 200 feet down the hall from Ron's office. That's 84 steps. It takes two and a half minutes in the morning, more in the afternoon. Sometimes I wonder if there is a hidden message in this.

RGF: Rick, whom do you envy the most at RGF?

Rick: That's easy also! Walt Ellis, our VP/GM of AOS. These RGF proprietary Photohydroionization ™ systems have passed with flying colors the most rigid independent testing from the most prestigious US Fortune 500 food companies, plus the USDA and FDA! Walt has tons of independent documentation proving 90%+ bacteria reduction on food, air and

water. Think about it - Walt could be credited with saving the world! He could be on "Larry King Live"!! Without RGF and Walt, the show might be called "Larry King Dead"! Wouldn't that be dull! Walt is a nice guy, but let's face it, any moron could sell this stuff. Hey, I got a little carried away there. How about leaving out the moron bit? I eat lunch with Walt, you understand.

RGF: Sure, Rick, No problem. I understand. How about jealousy? Are you jealous of anyone at RGF?

Rick: I'm glad you asked that question! It's Sharon Rinehimer, our staff attorney and VP of International Business Development. Since I've been around, she has been to Japan twice, Korea, Taiwan, Australia, Malaysia, Peru, Mexico and Europe! I've been to Newark, Peoria and Des Moines-period! Plus, she eats more than me and she is bone-thin! It's just not fair! RGF: Rick, should I leave anything out?

Rick: No! RGF I'm surprised she didn't get any attorney slams! So, what do you see for the future of RGF?

Rick: Unlimited! If you objectively look at each product, it has the competition beat, where there is competition. It is now up to us sales professionals to make it happen.

RGF: Who are RGF's competitors?

Rick: That's the best part! We don't have any as EPRI (Electric Power Research Institute) wrote in their report: " RGF is the only environmental company with credible, full turnkey service from technology applications to design, to engineering, to manufacturing, to construction, installation and ongoing monitoring," and we cover water, food, air and laundry purification.

RGF: How does RGF stay ahead of the competition?

Rick: R&D. More money is spent on engineering and R&D than sales, which makes my job all the more fun!

RGF: Speaking of fun, is it fun to work at RGF?

Rick: Yes, kind of like working at Southwest Airlines. It's not only fun, it's downright weird! For example, when I came on board, we had a "CCC" party, which was fun but also weird. You see "CCC" stands for chocolate and cheap champagne. Did you ever try to wash chocolate down with cheap champagne? Hey, let's leave out the "cheap champagne." Sharon picked the champagne. I don't want to get sued! You know how lawyers can be!
