Bring balance to The Force.
Imagine if the universe in Star Wars had no Force, or the Dark Side
prevailed over the light? As Yoda said, "Fear is the path to the Dark
Side. Fear leads to anger. Anger leads to hate. Hate leads to
suffering." And so on. This path is the direct result of a lack of
balance — an issue plaguing many companies today.
Without a balancing Force, your company and employees
remain frustrated with unnecessary processes while wasting
precious time and money — the corporate equivalent of turning
to the “Dark Side.”
Help me Obi-Wan Kenobi, you’re my only hope!

Too many systems complicate life.
Technology should simplify your life, not over complicate it. On
average, companies use 13 different systems to manage their
employee spend, 7 of which are software platforms or online
tools (Wakefield, 2015). Using too many systems can create
additional problems, rather than solving existing ones. If none of
these systems talk to each other, you have created a trap for your
employees because the entire picture of employee spend is invisible.
Additionally, managing employee spend becomes reactionary, which
costs your company time and money.
Instead of feeling like Admiral Ackbar upon realizing that the Death
Star’s shield is still up and your fleet is in trouble, help ensure victory
by simplifying spend processes for your employees while
simultaneously cutting costs and driving profits.

Wasted time on manual and disconnected processes.
The time required to learn, navigate between, and interact with
dozens of disparate systems is intensive and takes employees away
from their direct revenue-generating job activities. Not even the most
diligent worker can remember the login passwords to 10+ systems
without keeping track of them in a separate document or using yet
another system. As a result, employees are constantly having to reset
passwords or reach out to admins to gain access, which inevitably
wastes even more time and money.
Employees need time to focus and complete their work. Similarly, a
Jedi must remain resolute and patient to complete their training.
Employees who get bogged down in unnecessary processes suffer
from a lack of productivity, wasting time and money — leading your
company on a path to The Dark Side.

Don't leave compliance to chance.
The problem is that even if employees wanted to comply, your
intricate web of disparate systems are scattered across the galaxy like
the remnants of Alderaan post Death Star blast. You are leaving policy
compliance to chance. By having your policy, negotiated rates and
preferred vendors integrated into an all-in-one platform for employee
spend, it's impossible for your employees to go rogue.
C-3PO likes to rattle off the odds R2-D2 calculates for survival, and
Han Solo always says never tell them to me. That may work for a
scruffy looking nerf-herder space pilot, but in the world of finance, you
can’t leave your fate to luck. By eliminating multiple, disconnected
systems for managing employee spend, you’ll improve efficiency and
spend utility and help grow your business.
In my experience there is no such
thing as luck. OBI WAN KENOBI

Is your tech a help or hindrance to hires?
In today’s competitive job market, the type of technology a company
uses has become a perk and is often commented on on employee-
review websites. Frustrating employees and wasting their time with
outdated company policies and tools can damage a company’s ability
to retain and motivate them.
Think about how you’ve consolidated the tools and processes in your
own life. If you’re booking a trip do you book it through one site that
compares multiple carriers or do you go to individual websites of
many different airlines, hotel chains, and car rental companies?
The answer to this question is self-evident. You do what’s simple —
using an all-in-one place to fill all your travel and shopping needs. But
why then does your company not offer the same simplicity for
employee spend?
I’d just as soon kiss a wookie!

Bring balance to The Force with an all-in-one platform.
Imagine you find yourself in a galaxy far, far away,
and your employee needs to:
Purchase a box of power converters from
Tosche Station.
Ship “Death Star” architectural plans to a trusted
Rebel colleague.
Book transport using a preferred starliner like the Millennium
Falcon, with pre-negotiated rates and within budget.
File an expense report to Admiral Ackbar to be reimbursed
for this intergalactic journey.

Become a Force for change.
A single platform allows decision-makers to identify problems sooner,
before they balloon or become permanent. It helps employees get
reimbursed for expenses faster and ensures that fewer expense
reports and purchase orders are submitted with policy violations.
• Ensure correct vendors are used.
• Manage spend creep.
• Control purchases.
• Increase savings.
• Manage out-of-policy spend.
Do or do not. There is no try.

All-in-one platform
When each of these functions, purchasing supplies, shipping plans,
booking travel, and filing an expense report is done with an all-in-one
solution, each step communicates directly with the other as part of a
whole cohesive unit — bringing balance to the Force.
ShoppingOrder from customizable catalogs that include your company
policy and negotiated rates at point of purchase.
ShippingKeep costs low for your company by comparing shipping
options, rates, and delivery times all in one place.
TravelBook, change, or cancel your travel plans and never spend unnecessary
time planning frequent business trips — all while remaining on policy.
ExpenseEliminate manual data entry, enable mobile receipt capture,
and report on the go with a convenient mobile application.
I suggest a new strategy.
