– three times as much burglary
– 30% higher mortality rates
– child poverty three times higher
– 70% of all English BME residents
What’s the Problem?
Two long term goals:
lower worklessness and crime, better health, skills, housing and physical environment
narrow the gap between the most deprived areas and the rest
What are the key features?
