This a love story brought to a happyconclusion by a little magic. The plot of

the story revolves around 2 friendsHelena and hernia their lovers Demetriusand Lysander. According to the lawprevalent in the city of Athens which

empowered the fathers to marry theirdaughter with their will and on refusal thegirl could be put to death.

Hermia was given four days to

consider , so she and Lysander

decided to escape to beautiful

woods where his aunt lived and tie

the knot their as that place was notunder the territory of Athens .

Tired of walking through the woods

Hermia decided to stop for a while

and while resting both fell fast

asleep .

Demetrius also came into the woods searching

for Hernia followed by Helena though

constantly rebuking her seeming this the fairy

king Oberon decided to make everything

right. He sent Puck this counselor to do thetask but he by mistake poured the love charm

on Lysander eye who first save Helena and fell

in love with her under the magic spell.Smilarily Demetrius to whose eyes the love

juice was also applied Helena and fell for her.

Observing this blunder Oberon again sent Puck

to set the situation right. Fighting for Helena's

love both Lysander and Demetrius, Puck

brought them all to same spot and applied the

antidote to Lysander eyes .Then all of them fell

asleep. Opening his eyes Lysander saw Hermia

and recovered his love and thought of it to be a

dream. Demetrius still love Helena

So all of them returned to Athens

,Hermia father agreed and she and

Helena married their loved ones. The

fairy king and queen also the invisiblespectators to all this all celebrated the

nuptials in their fairy kingdom.

Of all the characters which I like themost is of fairy king OBERON. When hecomes to know of the blunder his

counsellor Puck has done he asks himto set everything right and restore thetrue love which Lysander held for

Hermia. On the other hand being wiseand observant that how Helena lovedDemetrius, he gets him to deeply loveher too , making a happy couple. This

proves that he worshiped love and

which is defined by the fact that though heinitially gets his wife Titania , the fairyqueen to love a clown so that he could take
